My Name is Ian Adams. I am a senior at SMCC, planning on graduating in May of 2013 with a degree in Computer Technology. This website is a continued project as part of my Senior Seminar Class and will be updated and built upon regularly, according to the requirements of the class.
My interest in computers started only within the last few years, well into my first year at SMCC, where my major at the time was Liberal Arts. Before I started the Computer Technology curriculum, i knew next to nothing about computers. As my time at SMCC went on and each class completed, my knowledge of computers grew, as did my passion. I cannot say with certainty what I want to do with computers following college, but if there is one thing the CT Program showed me, is there are a lot of professions out there involving IT proessionals, ranging from those who create Databases or those who Program, to Hardware Techs, to Linux or Windows Server Techs to Network Security and Proejct Management specialists, and now knowing a little bit of each field, my options are near limitless.
